Acoustic Pulse Reflectometry (APR) is a non-destructive testing method used to inspect the internal condition of tubes and pipelines by analyzing reflections of acoustic pulses. The technique involves sending short acoustic pulses into the tube and measuring the reflected signals that bounce back from any internal features or defects such as blockages, corrosion, or leaks. By analyzing the time and amplitude of these reflections, the location and nature of any anomalies can be determined. APR is particularly effective for inspecting complex geometries and long lengths of tubing in industries such as oil and gas, power generation, and aerospace, where traditional inspection methods may be challenging to apply
