The first in the Philippines, NDT of a Yacht’s Pole Carbon Fiber Mast using NDTPI’s DolphiCam2 Matrix Ultrasonic Test equipment. Inspection made on June 20, 2024 at the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
The inspection we performed was made in order to determine the integrity of the carbon fiber pole mast of a yacht, detect and evaluate defects/flaws in materials that may cause corrosion or fatigue. NDT is considered a key process in helping guarantee structural integrity, as flaws, cracks, and other similar defects may lead to loss of strength or failure in service.
