Radiographic Testing (RT)

Radiographic testing (RT) is a non-destructive testing method that uses X-rays or gamma rays to create images of the internal structure of a material or component. This technique is widely used in industries such as aerospace, automotive, oil and gas, and construction to detect internal defects like cracks, voids, and inclusions that could compromise the integrity of the item being inspected. By capturing these images on film or digital detectors, RT provides a permanent record that can be analyzed to ensure the quality and safety of critical components without causing damage to them​.
