NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING

Vacuum Testing

Vacuum testing is a non-destructive testing method used to detect leaks in a component or system by creating a vacuum environment and observing for any pressure changes that indicate the presence of leaks. This method involves placing the test object in a vacuum chamber or applying a vacuum box to a specific area of the object, then drawing a vacuum and monitoring the pressure. A stable pressure indicates no leaks, while a pressure drop signifies a leakage point. Vacuum testing is widely used in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing to ensure the integrity and airtightness of components like tanks, pipelines, and sealed enclosures.
